first day of local service learning

On the first day of service learning,i went to clementi woods kindergarten to help out.the kids were really cute and independent.each of them placed their folders and waterbottles on the trolleys or trays that had their class name on it .then they proceed on to temperature taking .Me ,annajoy,piaomin and caryn then look around in the kindergarten.It was really big as compared to the last time when i studied in clementi woods kindergarten.today,i met many familiar faces .this includes my ex teachers,bus aunties and uncles.i kind of feel that time passed so quickly,just like a flash of light.recalling the past,i felt a little nostalgic about being a child.i think that the local service learning continue to inspire me to be a teacher.Although today i stayed in a room with my friends ,wrapping presents,designing the cards,i felt not just tired but also happy.it is because i get to work with my friends and share our views about being a kindergarten teacher.one of my friend said that it was cool to be a kindergarten teacher and i felt so too.so,although i am feeling tired i still felt worthwhile.really looking forward to interact with the childrens on thurs and fri.perhaps then i will be even more elated about the work i am doing and really be really inspired to be one.and i think this will help me to be motivated to be one.one of my good friend in gb ,rachel ,always say that i am going to be a teacher .because as you know,my name is edwina lau shi wen .she take the lau and my chinese name's "shi",then you add them together and you will get "laushi" and she decipher it as "laoshi".which means teacher in chinese.haha...so just continue to pray for me about my ambition to be a chinese teacher and that i may be able to do well for the following test after the wheel week.
